Having returned to studio work and still recovering from illness, I continue to use thread as my main practice. It is gentle, exciting, and satisfying to work with. Each piece since the last big op seems to have a direction and, for a change, possibly a start, middle and end.

Whilst I cannot cope with pressure, this gentle way in the world fits me. I am rarely not creating but am curtailed by lack of energy and drive to go into the wider world with my work.

My home is the most important thing to me at the moment, my family and close friends. Illness is a scary thing and I don't look forward or back too much, well try not. I live in the here and now.
